Agreement
Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Squish Chrome extension, website, AI screening service, subscriptions, and screening credits.
Last updated September 1, 20261. Acceptance and eligibility
By installing, accessing, or purchasing Squish, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. If you use Squish for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.
2. What Squish does
Squish is a Chrome extension that screens selected Threads replies, activity items, and direct messages and may conceal content based on settings you choose. One credit normally screens one new item. Reusing a saved decision does not consume another credit.
AI classifications are probabilistic. Squish may miss, misclassify, delay, or temporarily hide content. It is a convenience tool, not a personal-safety, moderation, emergency, medical, legal, or professional-advice service.
3. Free preview, subscriptions, and credits
- Each eligible new installation receives 100 free reply screenings without a card.
- The paid plan is US$5 per month and includes 5,000 screening credits for each billing period.
- Paid subscribers may purchase 2,500-credit recharge packs for US$5 each in quantities shown at checkout.
- Unused monthly and recharge credits expire at the end of the applicable billing period and have no cash value, unless the checkout page expressly states otherwise.
- Prices, applicable taxes, renewal timing, and the final total are shown before payment.
Your subscription renews automatically each month until canceled. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy and Commercial Disclosure for payment details.
4. Your responsibilities
You may use Squish only on accounts and content you are authorized to access. You must comply with applicable law, Chrome and Threads rules, and third-party rights. You may not use Squish to facilitate harassment, surveillance, discrimination, illegal activity, security testing without permission, model extraction, or circumvention of service limits.
5. Content and permission to process it
You retain your rights in content you submit or allow Squish to process. You grant Squish a limited, worldwide permission to transmit, analyze, cache identifiers for, and otherwise process that content only as needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service. You represent that you have the rights needed for this processing.
6. Third-party services
Squish depends on Chrome, Threads, Stripe, Google Gemini, Google Cloud, Vercel, and other providers. Their services and terms are separate. Changes, outages, or enforcement decisions by third parties may affect Squish, and we do not control Threads' interface or availability.
7. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Squish at any time. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, security risks, legal violations, nonpayment, or harm to the service or others. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
8. Availability and disclaimers
Squish is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Squish will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or harm caused by content that was shown, hidden, delayed, or misclassified. Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Squish during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where prohibited by law or to liability caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence.
10. Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without limiting mandatory protections available where you live. The Tokyo District Court will be the agreed court of first instance to the extent legally permitted. We may update these Terms prospectively; material changes will be posted with a new effective date.
